Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Quebec City, Previan was the corporate umbrella that oversaw two autonomous, independent, platforms – one providing leading-edge diagnostic technologies and the other offering advanced data insights and in-line inspection services – ensuring the health of infrastructure and critical assets. As entrepreneurs, we were passionate about challenging norms to create value for our customers and deliver positive changes to our industry. We believed that technical intimacy with our customers was paramount to our success, and provided us with the insights we needed to develop the next generation of infrastructure sustainability solutions. Through fault detection to advanced diagnostics to data analytics, our solutions promoted the safety of people, the protection of the environment, and the productivity of assets in industries the world counts on every day. Our technologies were vital to our customers’ ability to achieve operational priorities and meet and exceed environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals.
Together, at our peak, our two independent platforms had a combined workforce of 2,100 employees across 33 offices worldwide including engineers with backgrounds ranging from mechanical, to electronic and software engineering. Our people were central to the innovation and collaborative focus that gave us our powerful competitive edge in the market. With a unique, mission-critical value proposition, we built deeply embedded relationships with our customer base, which comprised some of the world’s largest and most respected companies in the energy, power generation, civil, transportation and aerospace sectors.

Our solutions served customers in over 110 countries through a global footprint worldwide. And our growth was not slow. We built a comprehensive suite of solutions that addressed a broad range of infrastructure and critical assets – from sensing to data acquisition and analytics – to ensure relevance, as well which reached into new markets, such as water and rail.
